With Eid fast approaching, our makeup and styling choices seem limited. Especially now that the weather is getting warmer by the day.
Eid is one of the biggest occasions that allow us to be at our festive best. But Eid in sweltering summers? That can be a little difficult for women. Not only do we have to contend with most of the chores but we also really want to look our best on the big day. We don’t want to struggle with melting makeup or oily, sweaty hair. That just ruins the mood.
But fret not, it’s not all doom and gloom. What we can do is change our approach and technique a little bit to achieve that picture-perfect look, all without having to worry about the effects of weather. And this post is going to detail how we can achieve that makeup look that’s effortless and appealing at the same time.
These effortless looks are literally for anyone struggling with the heat. If you are someone who gets out of bed at the last minute or has to spend long hours in the kitchen, this guide is for you.
Here we have 3 celebrity-inspired makeup looks that will definitely save your day.
The no makeup look trend has been around for quite a while now. And it is a game-changer for all those who want to spend less time in front of the mirror and more time on other things. This makeup look is incredible for all age groups.
If you are a teenager, just pop up a baby pink blush, some mascara, and a pink or peach lip gloss.
If you are in your 20s or 30s, you can be a little artsy and do a thin eyeliner with a neutral-toned eyeshadow and a few coats of mascara. Experiment with a nude or pink lipstick, a little bronzer, and perfect peach blush and you are good to go.
For people above 30s, we recommend you to go for nudes, light browns, or mauves as it will really compliment your overall look. Don’t forget to moisturize heavily, especially around your eye area.
There are really no rules when it comes to the base of your makeup. You can either go for a BB or CC cream, a medium coverage liquid foundation, a full coverage foundation or just rely on a concealer, whichever feels comfortable.
Don’t forget to wear your SPF before applying makeup and setting it with a makeup fixing spray in the end so that you are well protected from the sun and your makeup will also last longer.
Check out how Sana Javed and Alizeh Shah pulled off this makeup look, both belonging to two different age groups.
Its time to add some shimmers, highlighter, and dark lipstick. Sounds fun, right? It looks fun too.
For this look, our inspiration and ‘muse’ is none other than Ayeza Khan. Her soft eye makeup paired with a maroon lipstick is perfect for your Eid dinner.
Again, every age group can achieve this look and it doesn’t take much of your time too. From hot pink to plum or even dark brown and maroon, pick your favorite color and compliment it with a soft eyeshadow or a shimmer. To save some extra time, you can apply it with your fingers.
You can also use a darker eyeshadow in place of your eyeliner and then extend it further under the eyes so that they appear bigger and brighter. Apply a light coat of mascara and finish the look with a golden/bronze highlighter.
Nothing can beat a classic winged eyeliner and a red pout. Sprinkle some fake eyelashes (if you are comfortable) and dab a beaming highlighter and viola! You are ready to conquer the world.
You can also be a little creative and add some glitter to the party. Brown smokey eyes with a hint of gold glitter will absolutely look stunning.
One thing you want to make sure is that your lipstick should be matte and not creamy or glossy to avoid that smudge.
Isn’t Hania Amir looking gorgeous here?
Her hairstyle is also easily achievable and is probably the best choice in this hot weather. It looks great with small jhumiks or studs.
