In hypnosis, we simply take the subconscious mind (analytical, judgmental side of our mind), we merely put it aside, and we start to process all our information unconsciously. And, as a hypnotist, when you get a person to trance, this is what you're looking for. You're getting them to forget what's happening around you.
Your subconscious mind has immense power in controlling your life experiences: from the types of food you eat to the actions you take (or don’t take) each day; the level of income you earn; and even how you react in stressful situations. Every bit of it is guided by your subconscious beliefs and interpretations.
NLP can be used with yourself or others, at work, home, or at play. NLP can be used in business, sales, management, negotiation, modeling, excellence, presentation, training, education, coaching, therapy, self-development, professional development, relationships, and any situation that includes human interaction. Hypnosis and subconscious mind are inter-related because hypnosis is like a journey into the subconscious mind. Hypnosis can be used in several situations like stage hypnosis, performing in the parties, relieving from pain, getting rid of bad habits. Hypnotic anesthesia for surgery is startling and dramatic. Hypnosis is the inward journey. You can learn about the inner workings of yourself and others.
Hypnotherapy is the clinical use of hypnosis like you go to the practitioner for the treatment and the hypnotherapist uses hypnosis to improve your condition. Hypnosis may seem like sleep, but it's not. You'll notice all the different elements that appear like asleep; somebody is lying down; their eyes are closed, they're comfortable. Again, they're in the heightened state; their subconscious mind is hyper alert. The conscious mind can handle only so much information at one time; and, when we start to get overloaded consciously, things start to go into our unconscious mind.
